Union
Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the civil services result 2019 on
its official website on August 4, 2020. Pradeep Singh has topped the UPSC Civil
Service (Main) Examination 2019.
Candidates
can download the UPSC provisional appointment list of candidates who have
qualified the civil services 2019 exam online at upsc.gov.in.
The
commission has recommended 829 candidates for appointment. The list of
candidates who have qualified the UPSC civil services final exam 2019 can be
checked online at upsc.gov.in. Pradeep Singh, Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma
secured the first, second and third positions respectively.
The list
has been released on the basis of written examination and personality test of
Civil services examination 2019.
A total of
829 candidates have been recommended for appointment to Indian Administrative
Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service; and Central Services,
Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’
Out of the
total 829 qualified candidates, 304 are from general category, 78 from EWS, 251
from OBC, 129 from SC and 67 are from ST category.
UPSC has
also maintained a consolidated Reserve List of 182 candidates. The result of 11
candidates has been kept withheld.
In 2019,
UPSC civil services exam 2018 results were declared on April 5, 2019, on the
commission’s official website. In the civil services exam 2018, Kanishak
Kataria secured the first position with 55.3% marks. Followed by Akshat Jain
who bagged second rank with 53.3% marks. Junaid Ahmad came third with 53.18%
marks.
